Socrative is a platform for sending short and simple surveys, where you can immediately and in real time assess the effectiveness of learning while at the same time bringing a little fun to the lesson.

Socrative is a means for monitoring and evaluating the students understanding content. After using a Socrative session, instructors receive detailed reports of student performance.

Use Socrative to:

  • Conduct short surveys or tests to evaluating learning.
  • Review material with games or competitions.
  • Checking attendance of students during distance learning sessions.
  1. Create an educator account on www.socrative.com

  2. After registration you will receive a Room Number.
  3. To Create a quiz/survey, click on “Quizzes.”
  4. Click on Add Quiz / Create New.
  5. Select a question type ( you can add an image to a question).

    Multiple Choice

    True/False

    Short Answer

  6. Click “Add a Question” to add more questions.
  7. Save


    To conduct the quiz/survey during learning.
  8. Run Quiz/Survey/GameNote: The games in Socrative are built on quiz questions.

Students do not need to create an account, they can participate by following the link to Socrative Student.

During the Zoom lesson,  ask students to enter  Socrative Student Login  
https://b.socrative.com/login/student

You need to give them the Room Number that you received when you created your Educator account.
Students can also download the Socrative Student app – it’s a good idea to ask before class.

After conducting a Quiz/Test you can access a student performance report.

  1. Click Results
  2. Choose the desired information.
  3. You can also download and share (send to email the report.
